Space Theater

Space Theater is the first spherical screen three-dimensional cosmic theater in mainland China. With a radius of 18 meters and an inclination angle of 15 degrees, the standard hemisphere is equipped with an all-aluminum metal dome screen from the United States as a full-sky screen. The theater plays a super high resolution delicate picture with high immersion display technology, so that the picture is brilliant and the 3D effect is outstanding. The dome system has a huge astronomical database. With real-time mode enabled, complex celestial movements can be clearly presented through the stereoscopic display.
Cosmos Theather

Cosmos Theather is the earliest planetarium hall built in China and one of the best dome theaters in the world at present. It has the most advanced celestial equipment, as well as the most exciting dome celestial programs. As the largest geodesic celestial hall in mainland China, the internal diameter of the dome reaches 23 meters and can accommodate 400 viewers to watch the film at the same time. The planetarium uses the latest Zeiss optical planetarium and the world's highest resolution, most colorful and best contrast projector, which can simulate the real natural starry sky, celestial changes, solar system shuttle, cosmic exploration and other wonderful astronomical images on the dome screen, making the audience feel like they are in the real world and experience the splendid and spectacular scenery of space.
4D Theater

The 4D Theater is located on the 2nd floor of the Beijing Planetarium B. The entire theater can accommodate 200 viewers at the same time. The science programs played are very characteristic. The audience needs to wear special polarized stereo glasses when watching the film. According to the development of the film's plot, the special effects equipment will produce special effects such as water spray, wind spray, lightning, back stabbing, ball rolling, ear wind and leg slapping. Synchronized with the film's live effects let children learn scientific knowledge in the vivid and interesting story, and let "big friends" explore the mysteries of nature in the thrilling adventure.
3D Theater

The 3D Theater is located on the first floor of Hall B of the Beijing Planetarium and has 116 seats in total. With a screen that is 12 meters wide and 9 meters high, this is a small giant screen theater of the stepped type. The theater adopts advanced broadcasting equipment and introduces new 4K high-definition science programs with realistic and clear picture effects. Wearing stereoscopic glasses, the dream-like three-dimensional world is immediately reflected in our eyes, either a Tyrannosaurus rex from the Cretaceous period, or an ancient ice field beast or a great white shark of the deep sea.
