Tanggu Forest Park is located at the intersection of Beitang Street and Beiyang Road in Binhai New Area of Tianjin. It has been the largest ecological greening project in Binhai New Area so far. The total construction area of the park has reached 4.6 square kilometers, and a total of 9 functional areas are planned, including a cultural recreation area, leisure resort area, a sports and entertainment area, an exotic area, an animal area, an ecological demonstration area, a rest area, a water amusement area and an equestrian activity area.

According to the master plan, 24 bridges are planned to be built in the forest park, and 23 have been basically completed. The park has built 7 docks, and the area of the lake reaches more than 700000 square meters. In addition, more than 1 million trees have been planted in the park, and 106 kinds of trees and shrubs are growing quietly in the forest park, forming a characteristic forest belt.
