Part.1 River Aesthetics

The river is wide, with the iconic Jianbu Bridge spanning both ends, offering a bit of European relaxation and a retro taste of old Beijing. From a distance, the building is a symmetrical structure. Covered with the light of dusk, the building presents a light pink color, which has a bit of the feeling of the Grand Budapest Hotel.

Part.2 Walk along the river bank

You don't need to set a destination, just walk along the river bank! Here you can see aunties walking with dogs, mothers playing with their children... Most of the people walking along the road are slow and leisurely.

Mysterious Art Museum

There is a closed art museum here, adjacent to the Bulgari Hotel. The museum is a simple geometric building and off-white tone. The stairs are very high, as if you are in Monument Valley.

East Bank Buildings

The east bank is dotted with buildings such as the Qihao Building and the Bulgari Hotel. The roadsides are planted with solemn pine and cypress trees, which makes it look elegant in the midst of prosperity.

Part.3 Winter limited

The old men were shivering on the roadside playing chess, and wrapping their coats tightly could not resist the cold weather, which is a magical record belonging to winter. After warming up in the sub-zero temperature, some grandparents went into the water and started to swim calmly bathing in a crowd of surprised and admiring eyes. A grandfather was playing the erhu enthusiastically, drawing people to stop by. The dock is closed for the winter and no boats come and go. Swans and ducklings fluttered more freely in the water, making the river still lively.

Part.4 What to eat

The daily bagel is one of the top stores for bagel lovers. The store is small but cozy, so you can sit down and have a solid bagel after a long day of shopping, which will give you the pleasure of carbohydrates and protein. There are also a few quiet cafes and izakayas along the riverbank.
