Beijing Winter Olympic Park is located in the west of Shijingshan District, along the Yongding River, close to the office of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and Ski Jumping Platform.

The park selects and plants more than 30 kinds of plants and trees of spring, ten kinds of plants of summer, and many kinds of plants of autumn. Therefore, the park has different views in four seasons.

The marathon route is one of the biggest highlights of Beijing Winter Olympic Park. The 42-km riverside marathon route unveiled simultaneously with the park is the first fully closed marathon route in Beijing.

In addition to the 42km riverside marathon route, the marathon route is also equipped with a 2km "smart run" route, 10km night run route, and 21km and a half-marathon line in order to enrich the choices of citizens.

Different from the ordinary "urban forest" landscape, in order to be close to the theme of the Winter Olympic Games, the winter landscape is highlighted, and evergreen plants are planted here. At the same time, in order to simulate the environment of mountain skiing, it also creates undulating terrain, constructs a multi-dimensional viewing platform, and creates a characteristic forest experience place.

As an urban park with the theme of "Winter Olympics", Beijing Winter Olympics Park embodies strong characteristics of winter Olympics and sports everywhere in its design. Fifteen public artworks of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games and Winter Paralympic Games publicly collected all over the world will be placed in the park in the future, making Beijing Winter Olympic Park an art corridor for spreading Winter Olympic culture.
