The Nature's Magic - Shihua Cave

Located in the depth of the West Mountain in Fangshan District, Beijing, Shihua Cave is only 55 km from the downtown Beijing. Shihua Cave is a cave with large scale, many cave layers, complete deposition types and large amount of secondary chemical deposits among the karst caves found in China. Its aesthetic value and scientific research value rank among the top caves in the world, and it is one of the four major karst caves in China, together with the famous Guilin Ludi Rock, Fujian Yuhua Cave and Hangzhou Yaolin Cave. It is rated as a national key scenic spot, a national geological park, and a national AAAA scenic spot.

The cave maintains a constant temperature of 13℃ all year round. The tour route is more than 2,500 m, which is divided into 16 halls with a total of 18 scenic areas and more than 120 views. The cave is multi-layered and multi-branched, with seven layers from top to bottom, each with a different landscape, and it is known as the "Underground Pearl of Beijing".

Among them, the "stone lotus" , the 10-meter-high and 18-meter-long stone mantle composed of more than 540 pieces of stone stalactites, as well as the double pillars of the Dragon Palace are the best cave karst landscapes in China and abroad. The main tour content is divided into humanistic interesting layer, curious ornamental layer, strange stone exhibition hall, etc.
