Beijing Guozijian, which can be translated into Imperial College or Imperial Academy, was established in 1306 and served as the supreme administration for the organization of education during the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. Emperors in imperial China would also frequently visit to Guozijian to read Confucian classics to thousands of students. To the east of the Guozijian, there lies the Confucius Temple, the second largest Confucius temple in China, and the Yonghegong Temple, which is the largest Lama Temple in Beijing. At present, Guozijian aims to cultivate talents and promote cultural exchange.

By Subway: Take Subway Line 2 or Line 5 to Yonghegong Station (Exit G), walk south along Yonghegong Street for about four minutes. Then turn right and walk west along Guozijian Street for two minutes. Enter Guozijian through the gate of the Temple of Confucius.

By Bus: Take Bus No. 13 or 684 and get off at Guozijian Station.

2.Take Bus No. 116 or 117 and get off at Yonghegong (Yonghe Temple) Station.

Reservation: During the pandemic, the telephone reservation was canceled for free visits every Wednesday. Visits should be booked online in advance, and on-site registration should be made for free admission. 200 free visits are allowed every Wednesday.
