When the season turns into autumn, despite the shining sun, one would still feel the coldness belonging to the season in the morning and at night. Today, I would like to recommend this park named Xuanwuyiyuan Garden to you. It is located on the edge of the Second Ring Road, which is very convenient to get to. Even though the park is located in the noisy downtown, inside the park there is only tranquility and peace.

The gate of the park is very unique; it is a five-bay garden gate with scenery walls and brick carvings on both sides, which is very simple and generous. On the left bank of the pond inside the park, the Mingchan Pavilion stands amidst the pines and cypresses. There is a small bridge, flowing water, swimming fishes, naughty ducks, and swans on both sides of the Yuanyang Pavilion. The Pavilion is the very example of being “tranquil and elegant.”

The nearest way to Dingxiang Academy is to leaving Jingya Garden from this gate, Yaqu. Dingxiang Academy is a spot, the two stone lions sitting beside the door look a little cute inexplicably; the reason might be their tilted heads. The academy is not open now, but it is still worth checking in.

This two-story pavilion looks a bit like Tanghuawu in Zhongshan Park.

The park is not very large, but it is delicate with all the bricks, the architecture, the bridge, the water, and the tree. You even cannot distinguish whether you are in a Jiangnan Garden or not.
