After a renovation, Kujin B&B is presented with a new look. There is a whole wall of bear brick, movie-themed special coffee, and a comfortable garden terrace. Here, old Beijing hutongs are combined with trendy culture, and this is Kujin FARAMITA.

Kujin Coffee x COOGILLA

In the old hutong near Andingmen, there used to be a very popular B&B. But for some reasons, it was closed down. After several months of renovation and design, the place has been transformed into a different trendy collection space, Kujin FARAMITA.

Kujin x COOGILLA is a new store in collaboration between Kujin Coffee and COOGILLA, a toy brand founded by rapper Sun Xu. Based on the original coffee shop, the store has added a huge number of art toys, national trend collection stores, and vintage clothing stores. With a total of three floors, the store offers a more diversified experience to every visitor.

In terms of space design, the store has also made a new attempt. The metal pipes running between the first and second floors are both a display of bear brick and a distinctive enough space divider and style decoration. As soon as you enter the door, it constantly gives people a visual surprise. Therefore, this place is also called "the most trendy coffee shop in Beijing" by many people.

Trendy collection, quadruple space

Part.1 More than 50 bear brick

As a trend collection space on the first floor, there are current trendy toys, retro toys from the 70s and 80s, and a collection of national trendy brands and Vintage clothing.

The first room on the left-hand side of the entrance displays the current art toys. The dilapidated wall creates a tough industrial style, allowing people to immediately notice the bear brick collected by the owner.

On the right is a wall made up of small toys, filled with familiar cartoon characters such as Snoopy, SpongeBob SquarePants and Buzz Lightyear. With ornaments and hangings as the main focus, its rich colors are perfect for a photo background.

Part.2 Collected art toys from the 80s

The other space for displaying art toys is mainly the private collection of the owner. Most of them are from the 70s and 80s, and there are many rare and limited models, which have high collection value.

There is a purple dinosaur wooden horse at the entrance and sets of Ultraman and magic hair elves in front of the cabinet ...... For people who like art toys, this place is simply heaven.

Part.3 Retro Baroque Vintage Women's Clothing

After shopping for art toys, there are two clothing stores also worth shopping for. Kujin FARAMITA has created a Vintage store with some gorgeous dresses, jewellery and bags. The style and design are highly sought after, which are suitable for wearing to events and parties.

Part.4 National trendy brand clothing and jewellery

There is also a national trendy clothing store here. With green and grey as the main colors of the space design, the contrast of fluorescent and metal gives a strong visual impression. Here is a collection of trendy clothing and jewelry from several brands. The models that are difficult to buy online may be available here.

Please eat and drink on the second floor

Part.1 Pure white space

Following the stairs upward, you will come to the dining area of the shop. The walls and tables and chairs are in pure white, visually giving a brighter feeling. Together with fluorescent-colored decorations and illustration patterns, it reveals a sense of design in its simplicity.

There are also many self-made art installations in the public area, such as lightboxes filled with coffee cups, dead tree branches painted with white paint, and colorful underground windows ...... These installations carry the memories of this store. At the same time, they also give this old house in the hutong a vitality and an artistic rebirth.

Part.2 Specialty coffee

The store offers a wide variety of drinks, and in addition to basic espresso and hand-pressed, speciality coffees are also worth a try. The recently released movie special is inspired by six classic movies, with a wonderful collision of flavors.

There is also freshly baked Japanese toast, which is good in appearance and taste. The outside is the fluffy texture of bread, while the inside is moist and smooth like a cake. Each one takes 30 minutes to make on-site, so you can enjoy the best taste of freshly baked bread.

Each product has its own exclusive introductory card with detailed descriptions including the inspiration and taste. The patterns and text of the cards are designed by the owner himself, and the colorful and lovely hand-drawn elements surprisingly make people have an urge to collect them all.

Part.3 Scene design suitable for photo-taking

The second floor also continues the theme of art toys. The bearbrick at the entrance of the stairs is very suitable for taking pictures. It is recommended to wear something edgy and bold, along with some metallic accessories.

Cozy terrace with a view of the hutongs

The small terrace on the third floor is a more cozy place, where the iconic coffee logo light sign integrates with the old Beijing hutong scenery harmoniously. You can also hear the pigeon whistle echoing overhead at regular times of the day.

There are not many seats on the third floor, so it is also quieter. Surrounded by greenery, you can also smell the faint fragrance of flowers, which is suitable for drinking coffee and chatting with your friends, and looking at the old Beijing hutongs.
