On the occasion of celebrating the centenary of the CPC’s founding, 31 sites of the early revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China in Beijing were completely renovated and they have been opened one after another recently. Among them, there are Peking University Red House where Marxist thought was spread in China firstly, Former Residence of Chen Duxiu who established the New Culture Movement Headquarters, Li Dazhao Martyrs Cemetery which witnesses and tells immortal heroism, and Changxindian 27 Memorial Hall which tells about the strike of the Beijing-Han Railway workers.
Beijing is the center of the New Culture Movement, the source of the May Fourth Movement, the main battlefield for the early spread of Marxism in China, and one of the main breeding grounds of the Communist Party of China. As a result, the former group of sites for the early Beijing revolutionary activities of the Communist Party of China was formed. It has a unique position, unique contribution, and unique value in the history of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
The overall appearance of 31 red sites in Beijing can bring us back to Beijing in "The Age of Awakening" and relive the glorious achievements of the revolutionary predecessors. It is a vivid practice to using red resources well to continue the red bloodline. (Beijing Daily)
