Tianjin Water Park is a 4A-level scenic spot and one of ten top spots of Tianjin. As a scenic spot, it has a long history that can be traced back to early last century. Tianjin Water Park is the largest park in Tianjin, covering an area of 200 hectares and consisting of three lakes and 11 islets. It was opened to the public at July 1, 1951.

The park has a gorgeous scenery with a large area of lake where visitors can boat in summer and enjoy lotus flowers. Besides, the park is equipped with recreation facilities including ferris wheel and roller coaster which attracts a large number of children every year. What’s more, as a comprehensive park, at the south end of the park is a zoo with hundreds of rare animals.
