I believe everyone has heard about the famous "Highway 66" in the United States. In fact, there is such a highway in China. It connects Beijing and Tibet, and this road has been given a deeper meaning. It is the national highway G109.

G109 national highway was built from 1942 to 1954, which lasted for 13 years. Starting from the Forbidden City, which represents the largest group of royal palaces in the world, it crosses the Yellow River Valley, the birthplace of Chinese civilization, and ends at Potala Palace, the highest royal palace in the world. From the Forbidden City to the Potala Palace, national highway 109 runs across China from east to west. From the plain to the plateau, the whole journey is 5000 meters above sea level, passing through the unique landform on the earth and showing the unparalleled human geography.

The total length of G109 national highway is 3922 km, passing through 8 provinces (municipalities / autonomous regions) and 32 cities, including Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and Tibet. It is one of the longest highways in China.

Cuandixia Village

Cuandixia Village, known as the "little Potala Palace" in Beijing, has a history of 400 years. The whole village is built on a gentle slope. There is a superior environment of primitive ecology. Wulong Gorge

With a total length of 2 km, Wulong Gorge Scenic Area is a typical mountain valley landscape. The Grand Canyon is about 5 km long and the river drop is about 800 meters. Although the area is not very large and the canyon is not very long, because of its unique scenery, it has become a good scenic spot to find peace and quietness in the capital.
