Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum

Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum is located in Wuta Temple, which was originally a Tibetan Buddhist temple built in the Ming Dynasty. There are various stone carvings of Beijing, and the exhibits are very impressive.

Shijia Hutong Museum

Shijia Hutong Museum is the first museum named after Hutong in China. Located in No.24 Courtyard of Shijia Hutong, it is a quadrangle courtyard with one entrance and two exits. Shijia Hutong Museum was originally a part of the ancestral home of the famous talented woman Ling Shuhua. It used to be a place for gatherings of great writers-- Gu Hongming, Chen Yinke, Qi Baishi, Ba Jin, Xu Zhimo, Shen Congwen, and Indian poet Tagore have all talked and laughed here.

There are eight exhibition halls and a multi-function hall in the museum, including People’s Art Hall, Modern Education Hall, Lanzhi Xiefang Hall and Celebrities of the Hutongs Hall.

Walking into the museum is like passing through the last century in one second. The museum clearly presents the history of Shijia Hutong and records the life of old Beijingers.

China Garden Museum

China Garden Museum is the first national museum with the theme of gardens in China. It is located at the foot of Yingshan Mountain in Fengtai District, Beijing, and along the Yongding River.

Covering an area of 65,000 square meters with the building area of 49,950 square meters, the museum consists of three parts: the main building, the indoor exhibition garden and the outdoor exhibition area. 28,200 square meters in the main building can be used for free exhibitions.
