With the first snow falling in Beijing, the 7th Beijing Citizen's Happy Ice and Snow Season will be held from November 2020 to April 2021. Based on the previous six seasons, the activity held by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sport contains five aspects: event management, crowd guidance, promotion activities, venue construction and cultural cultivation, in line with Beijing's target of 10 million people participating in ice and snow sports and supporting the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

At the same time, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports has been striving to bring the participation of 300 million people in ice and snow sports into full play to achieve the goal of "promoting the participation of 300 million people in ice and snow sports" and to help build a "healthy China" and a "strong sports nation".
