Homeland is a forever topic for all human beings.

In China, in particular, countryside is the basic carrier of folk civilization, the soil in which the Chinese excellent traditional culture is rooted, the cradle for the victory of the Chinese revolution, and an important foundation for the prosperity and development of modern China.

Today, most people live in cities, but more or less, they share some deep memories and attachments to the countryside life.

Shandong Province is located at the lower reaches of the Yellow River, and is surrounded by seas on the east. It is the hometown of Confucius and one of the birthplaces of the Chinese excellent traditional culture . The Yellow River culture and the littoral culture embodied in the folk arts demonstrate the people's diligence and wisdom in the process of getting along with nature and making a life.

This exhibition contains four parts, namely "Farm Tools", "A Jovial Life", "Gorgeous Garments" and "Countryside Customs", including over 1,500 pieces (sets) of folk art objects such as farm tools, weaving machine, kites, clothes, etc.
