Shuiyu Village

Shuiyu Village is a folk culture tourism village named by the Municipal Tourism Bureau. The village was formed in the early Ming Dynasty. There are more than 100 courtyards, all of which were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The long historical evolution has left the village not only the ancient houses, but also the 128 stone mills, which set the Guinness World Record, and the unique Zhongfan performance (Zhongfan is a kind of acrobatics on a high flag pole). An ancient road made of S-shaped bluestone runs through the village. The village is in a circular shape and built against the mountains, forming a unique architectural style.

Simatai Village

Simatai Folk Tourism Village is located in Xiayunling National Forest Park in Fangshan District, on the mountainside of the Baicaopan Scenic Area, which is known as "Cool World, Natural Oxygen Bar", with an average elevation of 900 meters. The folk customs here are simple. The village was rated as a municipal-level folk village in 2004, and by the end of 2006 it became the first mountain villa village in the suburbs of Beijing with 286 double-storey residential buildings. Here, you can experience the joy of real farm life.

Nanguan Village

This is a village surrounded by mountains. A spring flows in the west of the village. It is quiet and comfortable. Although it is only an hour's journey from the noisy urban area, it seems like a paradise in the world. It is surrounded by mountains on all sides, so the forest coverage rate is above 55%. Longtan spring water is well-known in the capital and has the reputation of "Little Shidu" in Fangshan District. Nowadays, according to its own landscape and cultural characteristics, Nanguan village highlights the integration of traditional culture and modern civilization. It has built pavilions, bridges, corridors and hiking trails. It not only has the characteristics of Jiangnan Water Town, but also has the elegant artistic conception of small bridges and flowing water. You can also climb mountains here. In 2010, Nanguan Village was voted "Beijing's Most Beautiful Village" by tourists.
