Features: More than 30,000 pots chrysanthemums from Kaifeng, Henan Province and some rare chrysanthemums from Beihai Park are exhibited in the Palace Museum.
Exhibition places: Qianqing Palace Square, Longzong Gate Square, Cining Gate Square, Cining Palace Garden, Hall of Benevolent Peace, Hall of Longevity And Good Health, Hall of Immortality and Hall to Usher in Happiness.
There are rare species of chrysanthemum such as Duben, Nine Heads, Sixteen Heads, Dali, Xiaoli, Tower and Multicolor Forms. The exhibition shows the rich culture of chrysanthemum planting of Kaifeng, one of the most famous cultural city in China.
The chrysanthemums are formed into dragons, phoenixes, fish, peacocks, vases, and other forms.
In Chinese tradition culture, the chrysanthemum is related to the September and the Chongyang Festival and it also the representative flower of the autumn.
