The first medal, Medal "For the Victory over Japan" was a military medal established by the Soviet Union at the end of World War II on September 30, 1945, by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, to celebrate victory in the Great Patriotic War against Japan. A total of around 1.8 million people have received the Medal "For Victory over Japan".
The Medal in the Middle, Commemorative Medal of the 50th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, is a commemorative medal of Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Belarus, established by the Law of the Russian Federation of July 7, 1993 to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in the Second World War.
The third medal is the Commemorative Medal for the Anti-Japanese War. It was issued by the Second Division of the Liaoning Army in 1946. This commemorative medal is made of pure copper and is composed of a round shape and a five-pointed star. In the middle is a soldier standing, holding a steel gun with a bayonet in his hand, preparing to charge. There are five Chinese characters on the five-pointed star: Kang Ri Ji Nian Zhang, which stands for Commemorative Medal for the Anti-Japanese War.
This medal issued by the Second Division of the Liaoning Army was produced and awarded to officers and soldiers in less than two months. As time was quite limited, when the officers and soldiers of the Second Army Division received the commemorative medals, they became a member of the Nanman Military Region and immediately plunged into the smoke of the Liberation War. Perhaps some of them died heroically on the battlefield later, but, for future generations, this commemorative medal became an unforgettable nostalgia for ancestors who had made great contributions to the birth of New China.
