01 Guangyuyuan Museum of TCM History and Culture

As the inheritor of Chinese medicine culture, Guangyuyuan has been adhering to the spirit of "although no one can see it, god knows our heart" since its establishment in 1541 AD. Its products such as Guilingji and Dingkun Dan, are considered to be royal products and have been recognized by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as national intangible cultural heritage products.

You can experience the process of making traditional Chinese medicine pills in person and truly enjoy the unique charm of Chinese medicine culture by entering the 480-year-old Chinese medicine shop, Guangyuyuan. At the same time, you can also visit the National Medical Center of Guangyuyuan. In addition to the traditional look , listen , question and feel the pulse -- four ways of diagnosis, the physicians here can also relieve patients' pain through traditional techniques such as acupuncture, moxibustion, massage and tui-na.

02 Tongrentang Dashilar Old Herbal Medicine Shop

Beijing Tongrentang is a famous time-honored pharmacy in the TCM industry. It was founded in 1669, the eighth year of Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Since the first year of the Yongzheng era of the Qing Dynasty, it has provided medicine to the Imperial Pharmacy of the Qing Palace and enjoyed imperial privileges. This pharmacy has served eight generations of emperors for a total of 188 years.

"Although the process is complicated, we will not spare manpower. Although the herb is expensive, we will not reduce the material."  It is the traditional motto that has been abided by Tongrentang people for many generations. The good efficacy and reputation have made the culture of Tongrentang still enjoy a good reputation at home and abroad.

Tongrentang has become a culture embedded in the hearts of Beijing residents. The old pharmacy is well-decorated. When you step into it, you can't help but think of old Beijingers coming here for treatment. 03 Capital Famous Doctor Hall of Gulou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Gulou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Beijing was established in 1951, and the "Capital Famous Doctor Hall" was opened in 1993, where more than 30 TCM experts are practicing. A total of 83 national famous TCM inheritors have been cultivated.

The overall architecture of the medical hall is antique style, and the cultural characteristics of TCM can be seen everywhere. There are beautifully framed Chinese medicine stickers and ink paintings about TCM, Chinese medicine specialty flower teas that are regularly placed for guests to taste, and TCM-themed cultural and creative products.

The cultural and creative products include U-shaped pillows with the image of Hua Tuo, cloisonné blue gourds with the meaning of "practise medicine in order to help the people", and thermal insulation cups with cartoon images of the Five-Animal Exercise ...... Each of them is exquisitely conceived and loved by people.
