02 Beijing Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine Processing Techniques

This is the first international and domestic exhibition hall focusing on the traditional medicine processing techniques, a modern museum that inherits and promotes the traditional Chinese medicine concoction technology in the Beijing area.

Focusing on four themes, the museum vividly demonstrates the profound of Beijing TCM which features imperial use, sophisticated practice, safety and effectiveness.

In order to facilitate the visitors to have a deep understanding of the charm of Beijing characteristic TCM concoction, and have the opportunity to personally experience the ancient concoction and collect the concoction treasures, the museum adopts a full immersion tour to restore the traditional concoction scenes. In addition, modern technologies such as VR and phantom are used to explore the origin and development of the concoction technique of Beijing area through time and space and to analyze the principle of concoction.
