The Botany Pavilion, one of the most popular destinations in the Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 (Beijing Expo 2019) during the four-day May Day holiday, houses over 1,000 varieties of plant. From mangrove forests to insectivorous plants, from poison arrow trees to miracle berries, the Garden shows an interesting and incredible plant kingdom. 

The Botanic Garden also showcases theme exhibitions on its second floor, featuring mangrove forest, plant science, etc.

With the theme of "Live Green, Live Better," the expo opened to the public on Monday at the foot of the Great Wall in the capital's Yanqing District and will last until Oct. 7.
