  • Grand Canal Forest Park

The Grand Canal Forest Park was built on both sides of the Grand Canal with wide expanses of dense forests, orchards and plants like lotus. The scenic park is a National 4A Scenic Spot, with 2500-mu water area and 8200-mu green area, featuring “one river, two banks, six gardens and eighteen scenic highlights”.

  • Han Meilin Art Museum

Han Meilin Art Museum is located on both ends of the Grand Canal in suburban Beijing. The main building covers close to 10,000 square meters, with a collection of 2000 paintings, calligraphy, sculptures and folk handicrafts and another 3000 rotating exhibits. It is at present a private personal museum with the largest collection and most varied categories in China.

  • Tongzhou Grand Canal Park

Tongzhou Grand Canal Park is a large ecological park integrating the the Grand Canal Culture Square, Grand Canal Olympic Park and Ecological Park, serving multiple functions including leisure, entertainment, education, sports, sports contest, fitness and sightseeing. It is also the largest urban park in east Beijing. There are 18 scenic spots in 6 scenic areas on both river banks reflecting concepts of ecology, low carbon and humanities of Tongzhou New City.
