The new jewel in Wudaokou’s shopping crown is the U-Center, a recently-built shopping mall which houses all of the usual mall favourites, a department store and other popular stores such as Uniqlo and a Nike footwear store with lots of snazzy sports shoes. The multi-story mall is also home to many restaurants (including Grandma’s Kitchen and Greek Delicacy) and an arcade – a fun place to stop by on your way to a big night out.

Before the opening of U-Center on January 30, we go went Wudaokou only for the bars and South Korean restaurants. This six-storey new shopping mall is located close to Metro line 13's Wudaokou Station. South Korea based Paris Baguette bakery shop, Love&Love gifts shop, Little Kiss lingerie shop, Art Box, T-Tribe as well as South Korean Hannashan barbecue restaurant and Grandma's Kitchen are or will open there.

When you're here, don't miss the great food market in the basement! Just like in many other malls you use a prepaid card to buy the food and can then choose from different food stands. Compared to other malls I have visited this was one of the best with the lowest prices and biggest variety of food - and everything was great.
