LuzhuangVillage is located by the side of Hongluo Temple, the No.1 ancient temple in the northern part of Beijing. It leans against the mountain in the north and faces water in the south. The tall ancient trees and elegant environment have made the view unique in the area. The expanded Hongluo Road and Hongyan Road have connected three scenic views of Mutianyu Great Wall, Yanqi Lake and Hongluo Temple, forming a central area for tourism in Huairou. There is a new concept tourism base with its theme of “creativity, sports, beauty, holiday and training”; there is also the Hongluohu Scenic Area that has yachting, dragon boating and water parachuting. The houses in the village are tidily arranged and the streets are wide and clean and flanked with trees. The village has many public facilities. Tour: With dusk drums and morning bells, one may enjoy the view of Hongluo Temple and show respect to the Buddha at Hongluo Temple; enjoy the fun of the countryside holidays, gardening, picking fruits and melons and buying agricultural and side-line products; and participate in fishing, barbecues, bonfires, open-air movies and setting off fireworks.
Accommodation: As a civilized village in the capital, you may see natural and harmonious rural life when entering the village. Between the black mountains and green water, there are rows of distinctive quadrangles. A night’s lodging is 15 yuan per bed.
Food and beverage: The food mainly includes rainbow trout and barbecue that has the characteristics of Huairou. You may also cook rural household dishes and roast lamb by yourself
