Refreshing Spring Corridor (Qin Quan Corridor)

Located in the center of the garden, Qin Quan Corridor was built in 1757, during the Qianlong Period of the Qing Dynasty.  The spring at the foot of the artificial hill lends a refreshing air, thus the name “Refreshing Spring.” There is water on three sides of the corridor; the spring is at the rear.  Emperors of the Qing Dynasty enjoyed its coolness in summer.
