Established in 1978, Beijing dance drama & opera house (BDDOH) was called Beijing song and dance ensemble before. It consists of Dance Troupe, Opera Troupe, Folk Music Instrument Troupe, Quyi Balladry, Stage Art Department, Show Planning Department, Guangdelou Opera House, etc. It can offer different kinds of performance, including dance, dance drama, singing, folk music instrument playing and Quyi balladry show. And it also engages in culture and art projects such as stage art design, show planning and art training.

　　BDDOH has made efforts to exploit government-leading song and dance market, tourism show market, international show market and business affairs show market. It presented many famous shows such as past dynasties court song and dance “The Rhythm Of Old China“, large-scale dance drama “Yuanmingyuan Park”, movie-TV series music and dance show “Love Lingering Over Mountains And Rivers”, large-scale song and dance “ Fascinating Dancing and Flying Songs”, Quyi balladry show “The Rhythm Of Golden Quyi Balladry”, large-scale poetic song and dance “Peaceful Capital”.
