Construction of two five-star standard hotels has commenced on Xunliao Bay in Huidong County Huizhou City, Guangdong.

Of these, a resort hotel under the brand of Kande has an investment of CNY600 million and is being built by the Kande Hotel Development Company. The hotel covers a total construction area of 100,000 square meters and it is designed to offering more than 300 guestrooms and suites, a spa and hot spring facilities, as well as villas. The other hotel has obtained a total investment of over CNY500 million and covers a construction area of about 80,000 square meters.

According to local media, Huizhou will invest in more than CNY10 billion to add five to ten five-star level hotels by 2015, with the aim of building Jinhai Bay into an international seaside resort area.
