A disabled woman artist living in Zhengzhou, capital of China's Henan province, has created a set of Olympic-themed handicrafts, including miniature versions of the Fuwa, torch and the "Bird's Nest" (Chinese National Stadium), Zhengzhou Evening News reported.

The woman named Cai Jianhua made each miniature out of square paper which is only 7.5cm long each. She folded each piece into a triangle and pasted them together.

Cai Jianhua, who suffers from hearing impairments, has been complimented for her exquisite work. The whole set of handicrafts comprises 28,800 pieces of paper, including 3,800 pieces for each Fuwa, 2,008 for the fire torch, and 1,800 for the "Bird's Nest".

Her work won a gold award at the Chinese Farmer Art Show on July 8 this year. Cai Jianhua hopes to carry them with her when she participates in the Olympic torch relay in Zhengzhou.
