The new Beijing Municipal Archives was inaugurated in Beijing’s Chaoyang District on the International Archives Day on June 9, 2019.

Four major exhibitions themed on “Archives Witness Beijing,” “Memory of the People’s Republic of China – Joint Exhibition of Municipal enterprises,” “Victory of People in Ancient Capital – Celebration of 70th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Beiping,” and “Exhibition of Development of Beijing Municipal Archives” are on display. Besides, exhibition of intangible culture heritage in Beijing was also unveiled here.
