At local time on March 24, China National Tourism Administration (CNTA) held a “Beautiful China” themed tourism promotion activity in Los Angeles. Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development Cao Pengcheng was invited to lead a delegation and held a tourism promotion activity of Beijing in Los Angeles.
At exhibition stand, they discussed business with American traveling salesmen, and got involved in “Beautiful China” themed tourism promotion activity. Other officials attended relevant activities included: Chinese Deputy Consul General in Los Angeles Zhuang Zhizhe, Vice President of Brand USA Aaron Wodin-Schwartz, Vice President of Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board Kathryn Smits, and Inspector of the Department of Tourism Promotion and International Liaison of CNTA Zhang Xilong.
At the site of the event, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development has provided well-designed tourism products, tourist routes, and tourism advertising video and other materials for local traveling agencies, citizens and media, and handed out brochures and folds, so as to make the tourism resources of Beijing more visible, and boost tourism exchanges between Beijing and Los Angeles.
Cao Pengcheng discussed with China Travel Service (U.S.A.), RITZ TOURS, Shanghai Spring Tour (US Branch), and other American travel agencies. Cao also introduced world heritage sites, traditional Chinese medicine, study tour, and other distinctive tourism resources, as well as visa-free transit, departure tax refund and other preferential policies.
Cao was also invited to draw lottery for participants on the scene of “Beautiful China” themed tourism promotion activity, with lucky ones receiving round trip air tickets offered by American Airlines.
