At every weekend, this park will receive numerous visitors, let alone in the autumn which is the prime of red leaves appreciation. Fragrant Hills boasts peaks rising one after another and gurgling water scattered in its 28 attractions. Notably, the “Snow-On-the-West Mountain” is reputed among the Eight Scenes in Ancient Yanjing. Its highest peak, 557m above sea level, looks like a huge incense burner that is too steep to escalade, so it gets the name “Incense Burner Peak”, or “Guijianchou Peak”.
