With the theme of Colored Lights, Beer, and Night Tour at Yanqi Lake, the 2017 Colored Lights and Beer Festival kicked off at Yanqi Lake in outskirt Beijing on August 16. It will run for 2 months.

The festival covers five areas including colored lights show, delicacies and beer tasting, night boating experience, water screen laser light show and drive-in cinema. Tens of thousands of colored lights at the colored lights show area, with themes such as modern Silk Road and sea world will be displayed. At the delicacies and beer tasting area, guests could try a great variety of beers such as Yanjing Original Wheat Beer and Tsingtao Draft Beer as well as featured delicacy, or attend beer drinking competitions.
