The Great Leap Brewing is one of the most popular brewery brands in Beijing among foreigners as it does good job both on marketing and products. It can be considered as the pioneer of brewery in Beijing not only because it is the first craft brewery in Beijing but also the idea of craft beer. The founders are couple who believe that craft beer is more than just a product at Great Leap Brewing but a responsibility. They set outwith the goal of brewing world-class beers, of which Beijing would be proud.
It has three branches in Beijing. The flagship of Great Leap Brewing is located in Doujiao Hutong, which serves guests a homelike atmosphere. Honey Ma Gold, Pale Ale #6, and Banana Wheat are three most famous craft beers in the taproom. It also serves a dinner menu with a variety of western style food. French fries and fried chicken wings are especially tasty here.
