On March 25, the Beijing Subway’s official Weibo account released a statement that named the city’s ten busiest subway stations for transferring lines and for entering/leaving the station. Unsurprisingly, Xizhimen, Dongzhimen, Guomao, and Xierqi were all mentioned.

Data shows that Xizhimen’s daily average of transferring passengers is around 480,000, while Guomao and Dongzhimen are frequented by an average of 357,800 and 290,300 transferring passengers daily respectively. Xierqi was said to receive a daily influx of around 240,800 passengers transferring.

As for entrance/exit stations, Xierqi has an average of 141,200 passengers a day, Dongzhimen has 138,200 passengers, while Xizhimen and Guomao have 118,200 and 107,800 passengers a day respectively.
